Concours & Classic Car Show
Held in lovely venue of Hove Park, this beautiful park, complete with café, children’s play area and miniature railway offers a great setting to show classic cars and enjoy a day out with the family.
Picnics are a good idea to make the day complete (sorry no barbeques). There is no charge to public entry, so a £5 entry fee is required to cover running costs and the souvenir plaque for all entries.
CLASSES:
Class 1 – Cars up to 1945
Class 2 – Cars 1946 to 1959
Class 3 – Cars 1960 to 1969
Class 4 – Cars 1970 to 1979
Class 5 – Cars 1980 to 1989
Class 6 – Cars 1990 to 1999
Class 7 – Cars 2000 to 2005
Class 8 – Modified
Class 9 – Competition
Class 10 – Kit Car/Replica
Class 11 – Super Cars
Class 12 – Past Masters
JUDGING:
Independent judges will select the best prepared car in each class, having regard to the general condition of the interior, exterior and under bonnet area.
TIMETABLE (estimated)
9.30 -10.45 am – Arrival and Signing On
11.30 pm – Judging begins of all classes
3.30 – 4.00 pm – Prize giving
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The event is open to all cars registered before 2005. No appeal may be made against the decision of the judge or panel of judges. Brighton & Hove Motor Club reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event and refuse an entry without assigning a reason.
